To make an appointment please email us info@bodycentric.com.au or call, text or voicemail on 0417 217 038.

Whilst we understand that unavoidable circumstances may arise, please aim to notify us if you need to postpone or cancel your appointment as soon as possible. If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you postpone your appointment and contact us at your earliest convenience.

Recovery & Rehabilitation

Recovery timelines vary between individuals. If you feel your progress is not meeting expectations, please discuss this with your physiotherapist so that we can review your treatment plan and ensure you are receiving the most appropriate care.

Imaging & Referrals

Please advise your physiotherapist if you have had any relevant X-rays, scans or other imaging. With your consent, we may communicate with other members of your healthcare or performance team, including medical specialists, speech pathologists, vocal coaches, dance teachers, insurers or case managers where appropriate to support your care.

Equipment-Based Exercise Session Etiquette

To help ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all clients:

  • Please wait to be invited into the treatment or exercise area.

  • Wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement.

  • Grip socks are required during equipment-based exercise sessions.

  • Please keep all personal belongings with you during your session.

  • Only use equipment as instructed by your physiotherapist.

  • Inform your physiotherapist immediately if you experience pain, dizziness or discomfort during a session.

Consent to Treatment

Physiotherapy is generally a safe and effective form of treatment; however, as with any healthcare intervention, some risks may occur. These may include temporary soreness, skin irritation or a short-term increase in symptoms.

Your physiotherapist will discuss assessment findings, treatment options, benefits and potential risks with you so that you can make informed decisions regarding your care. You may decline or withdraw consent for any treatment at any time.

Assessment and treatment may require exposure of the affected area and discussion of relevant personal health information. Please let your physiotherapist know if you feel uncomfortable at any stage so that alternative approaches can be considered.

With your consent, clinical photographs, video or audio recordings may occasionally be used to assist assessment, treatment, education or clinical documentation. All records are managed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.

Please inform your physiotherapist of any changes to your health, symptoms or medical history during the course of your treatment.
